Before and After Care

South Shore Children’s Center is now a licensed center to accept school aged children for before and after school. We are located at 350 Higbie Lane. (the former Westbrook Elementary School) The before and after school program is available to West Islip School District children in grades K-5. Our before-and-after-school program is available to bridge the time between school and a parent’s work schedule. Our warm and loving staff offers the school aged child a place to relax and play with friends; and opportunities to explore, grow, and learn in a safe, secure environment. Children stay busy and stimulated by a wide range of teacher planned child-directed activities in which fun and learning go hand-in-hand. There’s even help with homework.
